Who We Are
Neighbors building something lasting
The Foundation for the Amsterdam Free Library is mobilizing neighbors, donors, and civic partners to build a new library addition in the heart of Amsterdam, New York. The current library has served generations and will continue to do so. Its walls however, can no longer hold the ambitions of the city it serves. We are raising the resources to replace the deteriorating single story 1980 annex with a modern, accessible, welcoming three story building for every reader, student, family, and business in our community.
