Who We Are
Neighbors supporting our library, together.
The Friends of the Amsterdam Free Library, organized under the Foundation, is a volunteer group formed to support library services and programming, advocate for the library, and foster community engagement.
Friends provides support by raising funds for library enhancements that are not possible through the tax-based operating budget. The group extends our library’s capacity through dollar gifts, volunteer and program support, and advocacy.
