Five Spaces For A Stronger Amsterdam
Your gift to the $7 million capital campaign will create new spaces designed to inspire learning, creativity, and connection.
Community Room / Theater
A flexible space seating 100 - 150 people, with stage, sound, lighting, and projection. The only such space in the Amsterdam area, it will be available for community events of all types.
Teaching Kitchen
A fully equipped teaching kitchen to encourage, teach, and support healthy, safe, and joyful food production.
Story Garden
An outdoor area with seating, tables, and walkways providing spaces to expand library and community activities.
Entrepreneurship / Business Center
A dedicated business incubator and professional resource open to the community. Includes conference rooms, small private meeting spaces, and dedicated staff support.
STE(A)M Makerspace
A vibrant space for creation, exploration, and discovery. Includes a variety of creation tools including 3D and screen printers, gaming computers, a recording studio, pottery materials, and more.
Every dollar raised through the Community Campaign goes directly to Phase II construction, the Rao Family Education Center. Nothing is used for day-to-day library operations.
